One Important Message from Wishnutama to Garena in Holding FFCC 2021 in Indonesia

Garena’s efforts with Team Liquid to start growing the Free Fire esports scene in the United States.

Team Liquid and Garena collaborated to bring something new to the esports scene in the United States by holding the Liquid Free Fire Series, the first battle royale game community tournament in Uncle Sam’s country.

The purpose of this tournament was to introduce this game to esports fans in the United States, especially after the game was so popular in Southeast Asia, Brazil, India, and Europe.

“Team Liquid is one of the first Western organizations to not only enter Free Fire, but also as the winner of one of the first Free Fire esports tournaments in 2021,” said Mobile Creator, Community Manager, and Social Media Manager of Team Liquid, Nick Charles .

“We are proud to partner with Garena to help grow the Free Fire esports community in the United States,” he said.

In 2021, Team Liquid’s Free Fire division which competed in Brazil successfully won two prestigious events at the local and regional levels, namely Liga Brasileira 2021: Series A – Stage 1 and Free Fire Continental Series 2021: Americas.

The tournament starts on Monday (31/5/2021) and is scheduled to end on June 27. Here are the details:

  • May 31 – Registration is open
  • June 5-6 – Qualifiers open
  • 12–13 June – Regular season games
  • June 19-20 – Regular season games
  • 26–27 June – Final

Open qualifiers were held to determine who the top 24 teams were entitled to advance to the regular season round. In this round, will determine the best 12 teams to appear in the playoffs.

Players of all levels will also have the same chance to win diamonds and season passes.

All regular season matches and finals of this event will be broadcast live via Team Liquid’s Twitch channel, starting June 12 local time or June 13 at 08:00 WIB.
